Status and Degree Recognition of the Nyangani Virtual University

The Nyangani Virtual University is an autonomous and not-for profit institution of higher education within the structure of the established Harare Institute of Technology. The University’s shareholders are the Harare Institute of Technology, Zimbabwe, and the Global Virtual University Foundation. The Global Virtual University Foundation is an officially registered NGO in Salzburg, Austria.

This structure offers certainty and security for all students of the Nyangani Virtual University. All awarded degrees are submitted to and officially approved by the regulating authority of the ZIMCHE. This makes the University’s degrees officially recognised and part of the international system of higher education.
